High Wycombe and the shires around are naturally bestowed with hilly surroundings, outstanding areas of natural beauty and with great trails. Inspired by nature and with a motive to connect the community, we bunch of enthusiastic trekkers have been an active group since 2021.

The treks helped us to come out of covid restrictions providing us a safe platform to socialise, network and have a healthy life style. Since then come rain, snow or difficult weather the group has been going strong with immense energy seeking support, comfort and enthusiasm from each other doing treks every Saturday and Sunday. And age is not a limiter, adults to primary school kids are part of the bunch. Soaking in the natural healing power of nature we have loads of fun along the way with many miles of muddy tracks, steep ascents, descents, bushes, pebbles, hills and mountains conquered so far.

We are also very socially conscious with a desire to contribute to the society. Our group through its activities in 2023 raised £625 for High Wycombe Mayor’s charities working on Mental Health and £400 for Charity Through Adventure (CTA) wing of Sewa UK, who organise an annual Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge as one of its charity activities.

Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge in 2023 had 793 participants joining the trek raising £17,190 for Sewa UK. Around 30 Adults and Kids from our town participated. A same number from our town are gearing up again this year.
